1. Intended Use

The lipid panel test strip (dry chemistry method) is applicable to the quantitative detection of total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, and triglycerides in whole blood in vitro.
Blood lipid is the general name of lipid substances contained in the blood. Hyperlipidemia refers to one or more levels of plasma cholesterol, triglycerides, total lipids, and other blood lipid components that exceed the normal standard. The main harm of hyperlipidemia is atherosclerosis, which leads to many related diseases, among which the most common fatal disease is coronary heart disease. The combined detection of three blood lipids (total cholesterol, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, triglyceride) can assist in providing a clinical reference for the diagnosis and treatment of hyperlipidemia, atherosclerosis, and coronary heart disease. At present, the commonly used methods to detect the content of total cholesterol and triglycerides in blood samples include the enzymatic method, chemical method, and methods based on high-performance liquid chromatography and liquid/gas chromatography. The methods to detect HDL cholesterol in blood samples include the precipitation method, direct method, etc.
It is used with Lumigenex's Pro Chek® Dry Chemistry Analyzer which provides diagnostic answers between 2-5 minutes.
The Dry Chemistry Analyzer should only be used by healthcare professionals and for in vitro diagnostic use.

The validity of test kit sealed in aluminum foil pouch is 18 months under condition of 4℃~ 30℃. The unsealed kit should be used as soon as possible. Avoid direct sunshine.
