The monkeypox virus, which causes monkeypox, is a viral zoonosis that may spread from person to human and from animal to animal. According to the most recent epidemiological research, the incubation time ranges from 6 to 13 days, usually between 5 and 21 days. Fever, a strong headache, enlarged lymph nodes, back discomfort, muscular pains, and weakness are the major symptoms. The face and limbs are the primary locations for the rash, which typically appears 1-3 days following a fever. Lesions can develop at a single site or hundreds of sites, and in extreme situations, they can work together to produce significant skin loss. These rashes can cause excruciating agony. A rash indicates that the patient is infectious. Real-time PCR can be used to identify the monkeypox nucleic acid in samples of blood, throat swabs, papules, or vesicles. 

Intended Use

This product is an in vitro diagnostic kit used for the detection of Monkeypox Virus Nucleic Acids. The kit can be used to assess samples from skin swabs, papule or vesicle. The kit specifically amplify and detect the nucleic acid sequence of Monkeypox Virus, and there is no cross-reaction with other related viruses.
