Alanine aminotransferase Test Strips
(Dry chemical method)
The Alanine aminotransferase Test Strip is used to measure the amount of this enzyme in the blood.
Alanine aminotransferase, usually referred to as ALT, is an enzyme found mostly in the liver; smaller amounts are also found in the kidneys, heart, and muscles. When the liver is damaged, ALT is released into the bloodstream, hence increasing the concentration that can be detected in a blood test. This often happens before more obvious symptoms of liver damage occur, such as jaundice (yellowing of the eyes and skin). So, an ALT blood test may help diagnose certain liver diseases early.
This Dry Chemistry Analyzer LP-100 is a quantitative detection instrument that quickly detects the sample concentration by changing the color of the test strip. It suits for solid phase carrier reagents which is used for rapid and quantitative analysis of the concentration of various analytes in blood and urine.
