Intended Use

Testing 25(OH)D is the most accurate way to measure how much vitamin D is in the blood. 

Vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium and maintain strong bones throughout its entire life. Before the body can use vitamin D, the liver must change it into another form called 25 hydroxyvitamin D, Most vitamin D blood tests measure the level of 25(OH)D in the blood.

It is used with Lumigenex LTRIC Series Time-Resolved Fluorescence Immunoassay Analyzer which provides diagnostic answers in 15 minutes.

The Analyzer should only be used by healthcare professionals and for in vitro diagnostic use.
