1. Product Description
Creatinine Test Strip (Dry chemical method) is suitable for quantitative determination of creatinine concentration in whole blood or serum in vitro. Creatinine is the metabolic end product of creatine phosphate in human muscles, which is mainly cleared through glomerular filtration. Under normal circumstances, the serum creatinine level in the human body remains basically stable. When the kidneys are damaged, the normal excretion of creatinine in the body is blocked, and serum creatinine levels are elevated. Therefore, serum creatinine concentration can reflect the glomerular filtration rate. It is clinically used as a routine item for the monitoring and analysis of renal function. At present, there are enzymatic methods and chemiluminescence methods commonly used to detect creatinine content in blood samples.
