(Dry chemical method)
The Glycosylated Hemoglobin Test Strip is used to help diagnose and monitor people with diabetes. It is also sometimes called hemoglobin A1c, glycated hemoglobin, or glycosylated hemoglobin.
HbA1C refers to glucose and Glycosylated hemoglobin joined together. Glycosylated hemoglobin is the protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen throughout the body. The amount of HbA1C formed is directly related to the amount of glucose in the blood.
It is used with Lumigenex's Pro Chek® Dry Chemistry Analyzer which provides diagnostic answers in 2 minutes.
The Dry Chemistry Analyzer should only be used by healthcare professionals for in vitro diagnostic use.
This Dry Chemistry Analyzer LP-100 is a quantitative detection instrument that quickly detects the sample concentration by changing the color of the test strip. It suits for solid phase carrier reagents which is used for rapid and quantitative analysis of the concentration of various analytes in blood and urine.
