High sensitivity cFDA approved Heart-type Fatty Acid Binding Protein (H-FABP) Test Kit (TRFIA)
The H-FABP Test Kit may be used to quantify H-FABP in human whole blood/serum/plasma in vitro.
Cardiac fatty acid binding protein can be used not only as an early marker of AMI, but also as an excellent diagnostic marker for myocardial infarction recurrence. Currently, the application of cardiac fatty acid binding protein focuses on the following aspects: early AMI diagnosis, evaluation of myocardial infarction area, evaluation of early myocardial microinjury, evaluation of myocardial ischemia-reperfusion, evaluation of heart failure prognosis, and so on. The H-FABP concentration in human whole blood/serum/plasma was evaluated by double antibody sandwich immunochromatography using the time-resolved fluorescence method. This project's detection platform primarily consists of chemiluminescence technology, immunocompetency technology, colloidal gold technology, immunofluorescence technology, time-resolved fluorescence technology, and other similar technologies.
Principle
Cardiac fatty acid binding protein detection kit is a time-resolved fluorescence immunochromatographic technique for quantitative determination of H-FABP in blood samples. The sample was added to the test card. The sample H-FABP coupled with the fluorescent microspheres on the marker pad to form a complex against human H-FABP monoclonal antibody. The detection band containing another specific antibody H-FABP nitric acid fiber membrane was detected by capillary action chromatography and captured to form a double antibody sandwich complex. As a consequence, the higher the concentration of H-FABP in the sample, the more complicated the buildup on the detection band. Excess unreacted fluorescent microspheres were chromatographically bound to the control line. The fluorescence intensity on the detection line when the reagent strip is stimulated indicates the amount of collected H-FABP in the sample. The time-resolved fluorescence immunoassay LTRIC-300/LTRIC-600/LTRIC-1000 quantified the quantity of H-FABP in the sample.
