Intended Use
Cardiac Troponin I/ Heart-type Fatty Acid Binding Protein (cTnI/ H-FABP) Combo Test Kit is designed for in vitro quantification of cardiac troponin I and cardiac fatty acid binding protein in human serum/plasma/whole blood.
The cTnI concentration test is designed to help in the diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI), risk stratification of acute coronary syndrome (ACS), and monitoring of myocardial damage (1-3).
Cardiac fatty acid binding protein may be employed not only as an early indication of AMI, but also as an excellent diagnostic marker for myocardial infarction recurrence. Currently, the application of cardiac fatty acid binding protein focuses on the following aspects: early AMI diagnosis, evaluation of myocardial infarction area, evaluation of early myocardial microinjury, evaluation of myocardial ischemia-reperfusion, evaluation of heart failure prognosis, and so on.

2.  Bio-marker for monitoring the treatment of AMI
